PRIVACY POLICY
AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
This Policy regulates the collection, use, storage, processing and protection of customers’ personal data when using PINGO-branded products, services and platforms of RENEWECO INVESTMENT JOINT STOCK COMPANY (“PINGO”).
PINGO acts as the Controller of Personal Data, deciding on the purposes and means of processing
customers’ personal data in accordance with the laws of Vietnam.
1. Definition:
- Personal data: Information in the form of symbols, letters, numbers, images, sounds or other forms associated with a specific individual or helping to identify a specific individual in accordance with applicable laws.
- Processing of personal data: It is the collection, recording, analysis, confirmation, storage, editing, access, retrieval, retrieval, encryption, copying, sharing, provision, transfer, deletion, destruction of personal data or other related actions.
- Cookies and tracking technologies: These are small data files stored on a customer’s device that help remember information and analyze user behavior.
- Third party: An organization or individual that cooperates or provides related services to PINGO, may receive personal data from PINGO for the purpose that has been notified to the customer.
2. Scope of application: This policy applies to all customers, users, and partners when accessing, registering, and using websites, applications, services or products provided by PINGO.
3. Information Collected:
a. Personal information: is information that can identify you, including but not limited to:
- Full name, telephone number, email address;
- Identity document information such as ID card number or passport (if applicable);
- Payment information and transaction invoices;
- Customer registration information when creating and managing accounts on the application;
- Information provided by customers when participating in surveys, contests or promotions;
- Customer content uploaded to the app;
- Profile information when participating in events, promotions or applying for a job at PINGO;
- Information provided by customers when contacting customer service or requesting other assistance;
- Social media information is shared with us by the customer’s authorization.
b. Information collected automatically:
- Technical information such as IP address, geolocation address, device type, unique device identifier, browser type, browser language;
- Information about the time, date of access, access logs and use of the service;
- Location information related to the rental and use of the “PINGO” Portable Charger;
- Other analytical and statistical information related to the use of the application;
- Other non-personal information is collected automatically during the course of a customer’s use of our services.
c. In addition, PINGO stores information that shows the customer’s consent including: the time of the customer’s consent, IP address, access device, version of the current privacy policy at the time of consent, the content of the consent as otherwise prescribed by law, and can be retrieved when necessary for the purpose of auditing, collate.
3. Purpose of use of information:
- Providing products and services, performing obligations under the contract between Pingo and customers.
- Verify information, support customers, handle complaints.
- Manage customer accounts, operate, optimize service quality.
- Improve user experience, improve interface and application functions.
- Carry out marketing activities, introduce services, promotions, and market products in accordance with customer needs (only if customers agree).
- Meet the requirements of competent state agencies in accordance with law.
- Detecting and preventing fraud, violating the law, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of Pingo and customers.
4. Storage & Security of Personal Data:
- Personal data is stored on servers located in Vietnam.
- We apply technical measures (SSL encryption, firewalls, data encryption…) and management measures (access decentralization, periodic checks) to ensure data security.
- Data storage period: The customer’s consent information will be stored for at least 05 years or as required by law, and can be provided to state agencies when necessary.
5. Sharing of Personal Information:
We only share personal information when:
- When there is explicit consent of the customer.
- With third parties providing services for Pingo (payment, storage, technical support, etc.) with a commitment to confidentiality.
- At the request of a competent state agency.
- In case of merger, purchase, sale or transfer of enterprise assets (will be notified to customers).
We are committed not to sell/transfer data to third parties for commercial purposes without your consent.
6. Client Rights:
The Client has the following rights:
- It is known that it is decided whether or not to agree to the processing of personal data.
- Access, view, edit, or request deletion of personal data.
- Withdraw consent or request for restriction of data processing (except as prescribed by law).
- Complaints, denunciations, lawsuits when there is a violation of the right to protect personal data.
In case the customer requests to correct or delete personal data or withdraw the consent to data processing, PINGO commits to process the request within 30 (thirty) working days from the date of receipt of the full request from the customer, unless otherwise provided for by law. or data to be kept at the request of State agencies.

7. Client’s obligations:
Clients have the following obligations:
- Provide complete, accurate and truthful personal information as requested.
- Responsible for the confidentiality of account information, passwords and OTPs; do not share it with others.
- Proactively notify PINGO immediately when detecting that personal data has been compromised or suspected of being exposed.
- Respect the personal data of others; do not use unauthorized information.
- Coordinate with PINGO when there is a request for inspection and verification related to data security.
8. Confidentiality Commitment & Limitation of Liability
PINGO is committed to fully applying necessary technical, professional and management measures to secure customers’ personal data, in accordance with current Vietnamese laws.
However, customers understand and agree that PINGO cannot guarantee the absolute security of personal data in objective circumstances beyond PINGO’s control, including but not limited to:
- Cyber attacks, malicious code, sabotage from third parties, system errors arising from objective factors;
- Security errors, information leakage originating from customers, such as: passwords are exposed, OTPs, personal devices are compromised;
- Violations of the law from third parties, or force majeure situations as prescribed by law.
PINGO recommends to customers:
- Proactively secure account information, personal devices and do not disclose login information and OTP to any third party;
- Regularly change passwords, use security measures on the device to prevent risks;
- Promptly notify PINGO when detecting suspicion or signs of personal data leakage.
9. Processing of personal data of children (under 16 years of age)
By accessing, registering and using PINGO’s services and products, customers agree and commit that:
- In the case of a customer who is a child under the age of 16, the provision of personal data to PINGO has been legally consented to by a parent or legal guardian.
- The parent or legal guardian is responsible for ensuring that this consent is lawful in accordance with the laws of Vietnam.
- PINGO is not obliged to check the authenticity of the customer’s age or civil act capacity, and is not responsible in case the customer violates the above commitment.
10. Use of Cookies and Tracking Technologies
PINGO uses cookies and similar technologies to remember login information, analyze user behavior, and personalize ads. You have the right to customize your browser or device to refuse cookies; However, the denial may impair some of the experience and functionality of the service.
11. Cross-border transfer of information
By accessing, registering and using PINGO’s products and services, customers agree and agree that:
- Customer’s personal data may be stored, processed or transferred to countries outside the territory of Vietnam in the course of PINGO’s provision of services.
- PINGO is committed to fully complying with Vietnamese laws and regulations on personal data protection when making this transfer, and at the same time applying necessary security measures to ensure the safety of customers’ data.
- The use of PINGO’s services means that the customer agrees to allow PINGO to carry out the transfer of personal data as mentioned above.
12. Links to third-party apps
PINGO’s products, services, or platforms may contain links to websites, applications, or services provided by third parties. The Client clearly understands and agrees that:
- The access and use of third-party links and services are beyond the scope of PINGO’s control.
- PINGO does not assume any responsibility related to the collection, processing, storage, and security of customers’ personal data carried out by third parties.
- Customers are responsible for reviewing, researching, and agreeing to the third party’s privacy policy before providing personal information.
- PINGO will not be responsible for any loss or damage arising from the customer’s provision of data to a third party.
13. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of Vietnam. Any disputes arising will be resolved in a competent court in Vietnam.
14. Validity Period & Amendments
This policy is effective as of 10 May 2025.
PINGO reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. Updated information will be published on PINGO’s platform before applying.
